Origin

Vinnie Moore is a guitarist and a member of the English hard rock band UFO. Adam first learned of Vinnie Moore through his boss at the time, who had let Adam borrow two of Vinnie's solo albums. Awestruck at his immense skill and shredding capabilities, Adam and Josh would often express humorous frustration by saying the phrase "Effin' Vinnie Moore...". Josh has also been known to describe Vinnie Moore's playing style as "unCOMpromising".

Legacy

Over time, Adam and Josh began to attribute any skillful guitar work (particularly solos) to Vinnie Moore. Furthermore, this branched out to all types of music in any situation that included a guitar. Originally, Vinnie was the source of all guitar work but the sheer amount of time this required forced him to specialize just in solos. To this end, they assumed that all guitar solos throughout history were brought forth by Vinnie Moore.
