In 1999, the Lincoln car company released commercials for its LS line of luxury sedans. These commercials, narrated by Dylan McDermott, extolled the many luxury features of the car.
One commercial in particular caught Josh's eye due to its overly dramatic music and sweeping imagery. Nearing the end of the commercial Dylan McDermott says with particular conviction "Wood. Leather. Adrenaline. Where it's going may not be as surprising as where it's coming from." The high production values of the commercial coupled with the sheer drama it attempted to evoke came off as especially corny to Josh. In mockery, Josh began to refer to this commercial as "The Ten Years In the Making Car Commercial", as in his eyes it must have taken that long to perfect and polish it.
