Years ago, Adam and Josh rediscovered in their possession a children's activity/coloring book titled "Pig Surprise!". The book is filled with activities and pictures to color featuring various farm animals, but mostly pigs. While they found most of the pictures benign, a few in particular stood out:
1) "Look at this asshole" - Josh in particular took humorous offense to many of the pigs in the book. This picture is nearly identical to at least two others spread throughout the book. Josh took issue with what he perceived as "swinish smugness" and undeserved confidence. Adam saw no reason for this criticism and his heart was warmed by their innocent happiness. Josh wanted to punch the pig into bacon. This disagreement is irreconcilable.
2) Severed Hand in the Pocket - One image shows a farmer on a ladder picking an apple from a tree. As his back is to the viewer, his rear pocket is clearly visible. Protruding from his pocket is something that is most likely a rag or handkerchief. Adam, going with his typical knee-jerk and inaccurate response, decided it must be, of course, a severed hand. Adam was much more bothered by this than Josh was.
3) "Pigception" - The page asks "How many pigs can you count?". Adam and Josh don't want to know.
4) The Chubble - A particular page gives steps on how to draw a chicken. Adam and Josh immediately noticed the suspicious dashes on the finished chicken's front. Seeing no other possibility, they determined this to be stubble. Thus, the Chubble, a chicken with stubble, was born.
4) "Pig Surprise!" - The cover of the book. Adam and Josh began to interrupt each other whenever the other used the phrase "Big surprise", correcting them by saying "No... pig surprise!". This practice continues to this day.
