In the early 2000's, Adam and Josh went to a Jack in the Box for food. As they pulled in to get a parking spot, they saw a station wagon parked with all four of its doors open keeping them from parking easily. A mother and her two sons stood lazily beside the car. The brothers were kind of annoyed because the mother was just standing there and her two kids were just leaning casually on the car. There was an older brother and a yonger brother but the younger brother looked to be about twice the size of the older one. The family closed their doors and went inside.
After parking and entering, Adam and Josh witnessed the younger brother, who was about as big as Josh was, standing at the counter to order. He held what looked to be about four or five crisp twenty dollar bills very loosely in his hand and he was sort of leaning forward on the counter with his butt sticking out. He constantly repositioned himself and moved his arms changing his stance, all the while carelessly half-waving around the barely held twentys. Josh pointed this out to Adam and they both focused on their subject's odd characteristics and tried not to laugh. Josh started to ape the kid behind his back and in full view of Adam, making it very difficult for Adam to maintain his composure. Josh then mentioned that the kid moving around so much made it look as though he was trying to hold up the counter up "or something".
Working at full force, Adam and Josh said that, because he was young but so big, he must have had a pituitary gland problem and since his moving around seemed to be subconscious, his good deeds at "holding up the counter" made him a superhero - a fact that he himself wasn't even aware of. This made him the world's first unconscious "inverse" superhero - a superhero whose secret identity was known to everyone but he himself. Josh dubbed him "The Pituitary Giant" as his superhero name and sang out "Ho ho hooooo - Pituitary Giant!" to the tune of the Green Giant jingle. At this point, Adam lost it and, barely able to stand, had to go outside to sit down and laugh uncontrollably.
After getting their food, they drove home in tears laughing. Arriving inside, they collapsed in laughter much to the confusion of their parents.
This is a prime example "Mythos", a situation in which Adam and Josh took a small set of trivial circumstances or details and expanded upon them so fully that they developed their histories and backstories.
