Project A-Ko is a classic sci-fi/comedy/action 1980's anime franchise. It was one of the first anime introduced to Adam and Josh and as such has had an extended period of time for its own corruptions to form.

Booger

In the first movie, A-Ko and C-Ko go out on a date. One of the stops is an ice cream shop. There is a shot of an ice cream cone being handed to them. The cone is close in view and the wrapper has characters on it that vaguely resemble English letters. Josh noticed that the characters on the wrapper almost looked like they spelled "booger" and pointed it out to Adam. For years, Adam adamantly refused to accept the possibility until Josh paused the video at the frame in question and Adam finally relented.

Captain Napolipolita's Drunkenness

Captain Napolipolita (or Captain N) is the captain of the alien ship that abducts C-Ko. The captain has severe alcoholic tendencies and throws multiple fits whenever the supply is low. Adam and Josh particularly enjoy the character and like repeating some key phrases, usually when referring to any general beverage:

"I don't ask for much... just a little drink now and then!"
"On the console - quick! Gotta have a drink!"

Code Name "D"

One of the characters charged with investigating C-Ko goes by the code name "D". D's operative serial number is DC138621-S113. Adam and Josh enjoyed the campiness of the name and wanted to write it down to remember it. However, when D divulges the information, it is at such a rapid pace that it took multiple rewindings of the tape to finally write it down completely. Half the time, Adam and Josh missed pieces of it due to laughing too hard. However, the work paid off as they remember the operative number in its entirety to this day.

Horse Neck

Late in the movie when many battles are taking places, there are many scenes of military personnel manning comm stations. In one scene, a particular personnel member looks upward to communicate a message to someone and the angle of his head makes his neck appear to be extremely large and thick. Adam thus began to refer to this personnel member as "Horse Neck".

"L...Liza is space pirate..."

One of the primary antagonists in one of the Project A-Ko titles is a space pirate named Liza. When working on a website, Adam was typing out a description of the character that was intended to begin with "Liza is a space pirate" but accidentally omitted the word "a". Immediately jumping on this mistake, Josh noticed that reading the resulting fragment aloud in a Russian accent seemed oddly appropriate. Expounding upon this, Adam and Josh imagined a Russian man trying to describe Liza awkwardly in broken English, trying his best to communicate in a language foreign to him.

"One, two...three-four!"

In one particular scene of the first A-Ko movie, some students are running as a group during gym class. In order to keep pace, they count off from one to four. Adam and Josh noticed that for some reason, there was an elongated pause after the "one, two", followed by "three-four" said in rapid succession. From then on, any time Adam and Josh encounter a scene in an anime with students running in groups, one of them inevitably recites the "three-four!" counting rhythm.

"oOOo..."

The character C-Ko is a crybaby with a high-pitched voice. In one scene, she takes note of something and, with a clueless look on her face, makes a short expression of interest with "oOOo...". Adam and Josh often make this noise in similar situations.

Rootin' Tootin' Maruten

Maruten is an alien in one of the Project A-Ko movies. Josh liked him and nicknamed him "Rootin' Tootin' Maruten", pronouncing Maruten incorrectly so as to make it rhyme with the other two words.

"Wooow! Can I fly as well?!"

At one point in the first Project A-Ko movie, C-Ko is impressed with the mechs students pilot in gym class. Watching them with awe, C-Ko asks "Wooow! May I fly as well?!" Adam and Josh enjoyed this phrase for some reason and repeated it endlessly. However, somewhere along the way they began using "can" instead of "may", despite knowing that it is incorrect. Often, when normal speech includes "as well", they will pronounce the words in the fashion of the full quote. This corruption is by far the most used and most beloved of the A-Ko corruptions.
