Ricola is a well known manufacturer of cough drops and breath mints in Switzerland. Their best known commercial featured two Swiss men in the alps, with an alpine horn. One man would blow the horn while the other cupped his hands to his mouth and called out across the valley "Riiiiiiiiiiico-laaaaaaaaa!". Adam and Josh, in their immaturity, felt they needed to make fun of the commercial by altering the man's cry to "Riiiiiiiiiiico-retaaard!". To this day, they still refer to Ricola as "Rico-retard".
