FoolProof Security is a software suite by Riverdeep meant to, among other things, lock down desktop computers. One semester during high school, Adam and his friend had a period during which they were library assistants. It was there that Adam's friend discovered the software and its tendency to block out non-school related sites he wanted to visit. Adam's friend took particular note of the logo for the software which depicted a bored looking court jester with his chin cupped in his hand. Not interpreting the logo correctly, his friend figured the logo to be of a court jester threatening the user with his fist held at an odd angle. Whenever a reference to the software, or even the word "foolproof", was made, Adam and his friend would put their fists up at the same awkward angle. Soon afterward, Adam's friend discovered how easy it was to work around the software.
