Vampire Savior is a fighting game Adam has been known to play via emulation.

Quotes

"BOOBS!"

When the first blow of a match is landed, the narrator credits the appropriate fighter by saying "First attack!" with particular emphasis on the word "first". More often hearing only the emphasized word, Adam and Josh initially mistook it for "BOOBS" and began to repeat it as such, saying that the fighter who struck first "got the boobs". This has become a routine - after the narrator makes the announcement, one or both of them will say in a tone of amusement mixed with apathy "Aaah, you got the boobs..."

"Corn Nugget!"

One of Bulleta's moves is a charge-up attack where she swings her basket behind her head. Upon attacking with her basket, she exclaims a phrase that Adam and Josh can't understand. It sounded enough to them like "Corn Nugget!" that it stuck. Neither of them have any idea what she could be saying or what a "corn nugget" could actually be.

"FUCK YOU!"

At the beginning of a match against Zabel, Zabel's little underling appears by his side. The underling's eyes comically bug out as he sees the challenger. He then says something before retreating off-screen. To Adam and Josh, it sounds like the underling says "FUCK YOU!" and consider their interpretation to be canon.

"Saucy..."

One of Jedah's attacks is called San Bassare, or Blood Burst, in which pumps the opponent full of blood until they burst, taking damage. Just before the explosion, he says something which Adam and Josh can't decipher. To them, it sounds like he says "Saucy..." in a somewhat reserved tone. Adam and Josh consider this appropriate due to Jedah's general smug nature.

"White!"

One of Demitri's moves is a bat-like projectile he fires at his opponents. Again, Adam and Josh can't understand what Demitri exclaims as he fires it. To them, it sounds as if he yells out "White!" even though the projectile can be various colors. Furthermore, Adam and Josh refer to the projectiles themselves as "whites".

Miscellaneous

"Iron Horse, Iron Terror"

Each stage in the game has its own name. One of the stages that takes place on a moving train is called "Iron Horse, Iron Terror". For no particular reason, Adam and Josh began pronouncing the name of the stage a la Stone-face Phillips.

"Well that works..." *puchch*

During a playthrough as Demitri, Adam was not having much success pulling off any non-standard moves. He happened upon Demitri's throw, which consists of jumping into the air, lifting the opponent up, and slamming them back down into the ground with an audible thud. Adam did this a few times successfully, with Josh remarking "Well that works..." Adam began spamming the throw over and over with much success, Josh commenting "Well that works..." each time followed by the palpable thud. Since then, any time Adam or Josh say or hear the phrase "Well that works..." they follow it up by making the thud noise themselves, "*puchch*".

"Ya know..."

Adam's character of choice is Bulleta whose final opponent is Zabel. Prior to the match, a head shot of Zabel is shown along with pre-fight dialogue. Zabel is offhandedly pointing toward the camera. Adam and Josh took this pose not as menacing but as conversational in tone, as if he were offering friendly advice or making them privy to useful information. They started saying "Ya know..." in a conversational tone any time this head shot came up and continue to do so to this day.
