Credit Corruptions
Before teh merger
As Adam and Josh watched fansubs of the show, the episodes included the sponsor notice after the opening credits. One of the major sponsors was Bandai, which in later years merged with Namco to create the Bandai Namco Group. Adam made it a point to mention that to Josh by saying "before teh merger" (typo intentional) during most of the episodes.
"Sup."
During the fourth and final opening credits, Renton happily runs up to greet Eureka. As they embrace, they both turn to look up to the Nirvash, which is standing behind them. The camera cuts to a quick closeup of the Nirvash looking down, seemingly acknowledging them. Josh imagined the Nirvash saying "Sup." to them in a very laid back and casual manner. He began saying this when the scene popped up and stayed consistent until the end of the series.
Maeter's Super-Long Arm
During the fourth and final opening credits, the entire cast groups together, bonded in friendship. Maeter notices something off screen and points upward at it. The combination of her sleeveless dress and the angle at which she raises her arm makes Adam feel that her arm is too long for her body. After noticing that, whenever Maeter raised her arm in the opening credits, Adam would note to Josh "Maeter's super-long arm".
Zoiks!
In the third opening credits, there is a flash of the interior of the enemy's ship. The shot consists of Dominic speaking with one of the ship's operators. Adam and Josh had taken notice of this operator in previous scenes from the series due to his haircut - it resembles Shaggy's from Scooby Doo, except it covers his eyes entirely. Due to this, when any scene with this character came up, Josh would comment "Zoiks!". Adam would often accompany this with "Jinkies!".
Alternate Names
Eddie Money - Josh began calling Anemone "any money" whenever she appeared on screen and then realized how close it resembled the singer Eddie Money, so he switched to that.
Goo-reka - A major plot point involves Eureka's physical appearance changing, and during the initial stages of this transformation she appears to become gooey. In a standard bit of punnery, Adam began to refer to her as Goo-reka.
Hahp - One of the main characters is named Hap. Seizing upon the precedent of saying "hahp!" for people jumping (see Ergo Proxy), Josh transferred this to Eureka Seven, announcing "Hahp!" whenever Hap appeared on screen.
Hitman-san - The character Jobs dresses in a three piece suit minus the blazer. He also wears brown gloves, yellow-tinted glasses and is bald. His dress and appearance reminded Josh of the protagonist from the Hitman video game. As such, Josh would mark Job's appearance with a declaration of "Hitman-san".
Sak-goo-ya - A character named Sakuya who is mysteriously connected to Eureka experiences the same transformation that Eureka does, so to remain consistent, Adam and Josh began referring to her as Sak-goo-ya.
Future Waifu
One of Adam's favorite characters is Maeter, a blonde girl in Eureka's care. As is standard for favored characters, Adam began referring to her as "my waifu". At one point during Adam and Josh's viewing of the series, Adam read the Wikipedia entry for Maeter and was surprised at just how young she is - five years old. He quickly adjusted his label for her to the somewhat more appropriate "my future waifu", and a new category was born for characters who are too young to be labeled as waifus.
