Doin' what he do
Whenever Adam and Josh would watch Late Night with Conan O'brien, they would tend to notice Max Weinberg's particular style of drumming. Max would generally play very steady, repetitive, pounding, driving beats with a smile on his face and what looked to be very mechanical arm movements.
Any time Adam or Josh hear music with drums that are played in a similar sounding style, they refer to it as "Max Weinberg-drumming". They also often enjoy mimicking his exaggerated movements along with the beat.
