Another is a 12 episode horror anime series Adam and Josh watched in February of 2013.
Upon noticing that one of the characters was particularly cute, Josh typed "(cute)" almost as an aside to Adam during the activity of the scene. Josh isn't sure why he deviated from the usual "<3" when commenting on the character, though this practice remained consistent throughout the series. If there were more than one cute character in a scene at once, Josh would say "(cute)x2" and so on.
The opening credits of the series, done by Ali Project, have a particularly dramatic and epic feel to them and reminded Adam of the opening credits of another horror series, Umineko: When They Cry. Remembering how Josh began referring to the over-the-top singer by saying "Ah, thanks Japanese Dio!", Adam began saying "Oh, thanks Japanese Dio-ess" adjusting for the female singer.
As the series progressed, more and more characters Adam and Josh were attached to began dying, much to their dismay. Expressing this frustration, Adam adjusted his quote to "Thanks a LOT, Japanese Dio-ess".
One scene in the opening credits features a creepy elevator in a dark room. The door slowly opens, showing it to be empty. Intending to reference the famous "room for one more" quote, Adam typoed it as "room for noe more...", much to his chagrin. Josh was amused, noting that it still worked in an awkward way. Like Japanese Dio-ess, this became a standard for Adam during the opening credits.
