Adam and Josh are known to get irritated with the most incidental of things (see Hippy Flute and Josh's Fatal Fury Rant for examples).

One instance is Adam's irritation with dogs who have black or dark brown fur surrounding only their mouths and are notably shaggy (it is important that both traits are present). Adam finds this pattern distasteful because he feels that the fur makes the dogs look like they have dirty mouths and are thus unkempt and generally unclean. Adam refers to these dogs as "dirty mouth dogs" and upon seeing one is known to mutter "damn dirty mouth dogs" under his breath.

A good example of a dirty mouth dog is the Wheaten Terrier, one of which is prominently featured on the packaging for Purina Beneful dog food.
